PE JOB DESCRIPTION

 Project Engineer

 

Under the direction of the Project  Manager,

Project Engineer will be responsible for the execution of the day to day project activity in close coordination with discipline function of the disciplines, such as those performed by the Process, Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Instrument, Electrical, Document handling, CAD Engineering System, Procurement and Construction Group.

He will coordinate and issue instructions and directions as necessary to guide the integrated work and functions of all disciplines group to ensure that all engineering deliverables from the respective disciplines groups will be delivered in timely manner as high quality product.

To keep informed on the status of all project works with respect to schedule, budget, work quality and client satisfactions, and contributes leadership, experience and expertise in making  solution of project execution  problem.

To control and coordinate any changes in project scope  during  project execution comparing  with  Contarct approved.

To ensure that the technical standard, project management control techniques as required for the specific project are implemented by all project function group, such as planning, monitoring and reporting.

To prepare countermeasure planning to solve any problem throughout the project execution.

To verify vendors or subcontractor's progress and/or invoice claims prior signed by Project Manager.

To control and verify progress certificates, invoicing, completion certificate, etc relating both of client and vendors/subcontractors.

In  the particular  conditions, on behalf of Project Manager, Project Engineer will give final approval for all project technical document which to be implemented for the project.
